Good old play buddy

I am trying my best to get some attention but my human looks so busy to play. I really do not understand what can be more important then playing?

Ode to the cat

There was something wrong
with the animals:
their tails were too long and they had
unfortunate heads.
Then they started coming together,
little by little
fitting together to make a landscape,
developing birthmarks, grace, pep.
But the cat,
only the cat
turned out finished,
and proud:
born in a state of total completion,
it sticks to itself and knows exactly what it wants.


Men would like to be fish or fowl,
Snakes would rather have wings,
And dogs are would-be lions.
Engineers want to be poets,
Flies emulate swallows,
And poets try hard to act like flies.
But the cat
wants nothing more than to be a cat,
and every cat is pure cat
from its whiskers to its tail,
from sixth sense to squirming rat,
from nighttime to its golden eyes.

Confusion

This is one of my favorits moments. The Sun is shining after a snow storm…
But why can’t I reach the melting snow drops on the window even though I see them? This question will always remain.

Oscar

Friday night I was alone. My humans went to visit their friends. They asked me to come too but I would rather stay home and spend some time alone. The humans they visited have a cat also, named Oscar. We have not met yet but I heard a lot about him. From what I've been told he is a cool cat. Here is a great photo of Oscar.

I have a kitty!

This is my new kitty. I have not decided the name yet but I will let you guys know soon.

Do you guys see the photo that I am trying to imitate my kitty? Isn't it funny :3

The Dancing Leaf

While I was taking my daily nap in front of the patio door... Is that a dry leaf I see in the corner of my eye? In the middle of January? It cannot be! But yes, yes there is one, dancing on the patio covered by snow.

I am so happy to see such a performance this time of the year :3

Snowflakes...

Today was a lazy Sunday. After I spent half my day trying to catch snow flakes behind the window, I took a long nap on one of the chairs (the one with a pillow) around the table. My humans were there also doing some stuff :3
