Your pillow looks great! And of course, Mamush looks cute on it (when doesn't he look cute?!?). I still haven't tried to purl yet. But you have it mastered...I guess it's like riding a bike - you never forget how!
I understand what you mean about wanting to knit after reading Kelly's blog (Firefly Knit)...same thing for me - reading these passionate knitters made me want to try, too. Plus, seeing all the great stuff (Knutty Knitters is our work group), turned me to knitting. I am enjoying it, too!
